Route tracing
Chart complex paths through the galactic arms, hop between star systems, and watch your trajectory resolve across light-years in moments.
Step onto the command bridge of a personal starship. Trace routes through galactic arms, calculate cosmic travel time, and read the physics of distant worlds — all in one quiet, precise, fully offline instrument.
OrbitBall turns passive stargazing into active navigation. Every module runs locally, distraction-free, and rendered in clean mathematical detail.
Chart complex paths through the galactic arms, hop between star systems, and watch your trajectory resolve across light-years in moments.
Compute travel durations and relativistic time dilation, comparing the clock on your bridge to the clock back on Earth at any cruising speed.
Decode the spectral fingerprint of a distant world and see which elements paint its atmosphere — the building blocks of where life might ignite.
Weigh gravitational forces, orbital periods, and planetary mass through precise models — abstract physics made tangible and readable.
Explore habitable zones and the delicate parameters that let life take hold — temperature, chemistry, and distance, all in one view.
A minimalist interface with zero visual noise. No clutter, no ads, no connection required — just you, the math, and the meditative calm of deep space.
Pick a destination, choose how fast your starship cruises, and OrbitBall does the relativity for you — exactly like the on-board route plotter.
Distances measured in light-years from Earth.
At low speeds, the ship clock and Earth clock barely disagree. Push the slider toward light speed and watch your voyage compress.
A small crew of astronomers, designers, and engineers building the cosmos into something you can hold.
We are a small crew of astronomers, designers, and software engineers who believe the cosmos shouldn't live behind a wall of jargon and complexity. OrbitBall: Space Route grew from one simple idea — that anyone holding a phone should be able to hold the Milky Way too.
Our mission is to turn passive stargazing into active exploration. We rebuilt the observatory as a command bridge: instead of merely looking up, you trace routes through galactic arms, calculate cosmic travel time, and watch the physics of distant worlds resolve into something you can actually read.
Inside the app you become a space analyst. Chart trajectories across light-years, decode the chemical spectra of faraway planets, weigh gravitational forces, and study how the conditions for life ignite among the stars — all wrapped in a clean, mathematically precise interface with no visual noise.
✨ The universe, recalculated for the curious — and it travels wherever you do.
OrbitBall: Space Route was built on a single principle — your exploration belongs to you and no one else. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your data. Every route you chart, every calculation you run, and every world you study stays entirely on your own device. Here is exactly how that works.
Nothing. OrbitBall requires no account, no sign-up, and no login. We never ask for your name, email, phone number, or location, and we gather no analytics, usage statistics, device identifiers, or behavioral data. The trajectories you plot, distances you calculate, and observations you save live only in the app's local memory on your device.
Because we never collect information, there is nothing for us to use, analyze, profile, or sell. We build no advertising profiles, feed nothing into recommendation systems, and share nothing with anyone — there is simply nothing to share. Every feature, from route tracing to spectral analysis, runs entirely on-device.
All app content — your saved routes, calculation history, and preferences — is stored locally on your device only. There is no cloud account, no remote backup, and no synchronization to our servers. We operate no servers that hold your information, and your data never leaves your hardware unless you choose to move it yourself.
OrbitBall contains no third-party analytics, advertising networks, trackers, or embedded marketing SDKs. We integrate no social logins and no external data brokers. The app does not phone home, and nothing you do inside it is ever reported to any outside company.
Because your information never crosses a network, the most common avenues for data breaches simply do not apply. Your exploration data is protected by your device's own security model and stays inside the app's local sandbox, keeping exposure to external threats to an absolute minimum.
OrbitBall is safe for explorers of every age. Since we collect no personal information from anyone, we collect none from children under 13 either. The app honors the spirit of COPPA and similar child-protection regulations — because there is no data being gathered, ever.
You hold complete control over everything the app stores. To erase all local data permanently, simply delete OrbitBall from your device: there are no hidden backups, no lingering accounts, and no copies kept elsewhere. When the app is gone, so is everything associated with it.
If we ever update this policy — for instance, to reflect new app features — we will revise the text and update the Effective Date above. Our core promise will never change: the app stays data-free and on-device. We encourage you to glance over this page from time to time.
